About Lone Wolf Enterprises Inc. of Pacific Northwest Native Art, Victoria, BC

Jack Kerr, artist/ master carver, the main creative force and principal behind his Company, incorporated Lone Wolf Enterprises Inc. on January 16, 1990 while living at Burnaby, BC, Canada. Carving since age 10 years old, Jack decided to research the styles, designs and cultures of the Pacific North West Coast Native peoples art, which included the Coast Salish, Kwakuitl and Haida. Choosing the artist name “Lone Wolf” (although he is not of First Nations descent) he has continued his carving journey and study of the Pacific NW Native design of wood carving which includes masks, totem poles, wall plaques, blanket boxes, ornamental boxes, canoes and rattles.

Moving to Victoria, BC in 1994 Lone Wolf has continued to hone his carving skills through advise from such notable master carvers as Jim Gilbert and Robert Huxley.

Jack opened Lone Wolf Enterprises Inc. and Gift Shoppe in Victoria in 1998 and has continued to supply his “one of a kind original” works of art which are featured in homes in the USA, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France, Spain, Japan, and numerous other countries around the world. Most of his time now is spent on “commissioned work” for both the private and corporate sectors.

Jack, mostly known by “Lone Wolf” by other First Nation carvers in the region, prides himself in delivering a quality work of art for his clients which has been masterfully carved by his nearly 40 years of wood carving experience.

Lone Wolf is most “content” when he is sitting carving and listening to his favorite Carlos Nakai CD - Canyon Trilogy. Jack is now operating his small retail business known as Lone Wolf Tools 'N Wood located in Victoria, BC. He presently has his art work in 95 galleries across Canada and continues with his various commissioned "one-of-a-kind" unique art works.
