All of the LONE WOLF Sculptures are created from one of the earth’s most enduring materials – wood, which expresses, inspires, beautifies, ornaments, and enhances the environment of which we live in.
The LONE WOLF SCULPTURE COLLECTION incorporates a style of wood sculpture known as “carving in the round” and “carving in the half round” to achieve the two or three dimensional affect desired. The wood sculptures are completely hand carved here in Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA.

A common stylist feature of the LONE WOLF sculptures is the respect for the natural wood which is obtained from British Columbia. The natural grain is closely studied prior to and during the carving process to highlight the natural grain of the wood in order to highlight the natural properties of the wood. Exciting, dramatic, serene or moody, each sculpture is a one-of-a-kind creation.
Sometimes the sculptures are based on the power of the imagination of the artist – Jack Kerr – his personal knowledge of a particular subject or culture, his particular style or overall shape, colour and texture of the wood, and the tools that he uses to complete the carving.
